Save our Cedar River Library... Again!

KCLS wants to eliminate our entrance over the Cedar River

KCLS wants to Shrink our building space by 30%

KCLS wants to Demolish over 4,000+ s.f. of our Civic Resource -

which we would lose forever

This is unacceptable!

76% of Renton Voters said Yes to Saving Cedar River Library

  Chief Reasons were:

  • Preserve Icon Location
  • Keep larger-size library

We want a great library to meet diverse needs in our community

At community design meetings residents said: keep the entrance. Don’t make it smaller.

Larger library allows for more programs, materials and community gathering opportunities
Our library is a resource that bring a diverse community together
