Government Calculates KCLS Tax - $4.97 Million

The City of Renton has calculated the costs of letting KCLS run our libraries: $4.97 million dollars. We calculated $4.6 million using conservative numbers so as to no present false information. Of course the pro-KCLS campaign never bothered to tell anybody what the cost was going to be. As of today - 1/23/10 - Their website still doesn’t have the absolute costs anywhere on it.
